Restorative Dentistry

Most of us start with a healthy smile, but over time, things can start to change – teeth can decay, wear down or break. We are never judgmental about your dental condition. We are here to fulfill your dental needs in a way that creates adequate function and that takes into account your wishes. We try to remember that “one size does not fit all.”

Combining years of skill with the latest techniques and a masterful touch, Dr. Gary White can bring new life to even the most damaged smiles, letting patients just like you eat more comfortably, smile more openly and just get back to living life with confidence!

We offer all the restorative care you and your family need, such as the following

We use amalgam filling material to repair most teeth unless you request something different. Why? Amalgams are still the strongest, longest lasting fillings available and we don’t want our patients to have the inconvenience of constant repair and upkeep.

Composites or white, tooth colored fillings are always used on front teeth and in some cases on posterior teeth. Composites on back teeth can be successful if care is taken to place them correctly and are in an area that is not too large, usually one surface of the tooth or small two surfaces. In other cases a metal filling or a porcelain restoration fabricated outside the mouth is a superior choice.

Whatever your cavity repair needs are, you can count on us to make sure your repair lasts.

Beautiful and durable, our inlays and onlays are formed to fit, cover and fill most types of cavities or minor tooth damage.

When fabricated of porcelain, they are almost impossible to distinguish from the natural tooth. When made of gold, they are comfortable and long-lasting. So comfortable, in fact, that many patients say they are the best feeling restoration they have ever had!

If your teeth have been more severely damaged and need structural support, our dental crowns may be just the treatment option you have been looking for.

Crowns, also called caps, are custom-made restorations that comfortably and securely cover teeth that have fractured, have large cavities or old fillings that have failed, or have had root canal therapy. Our dental crowns can also effectively anchor a dental bridge for natural beauty and comfort.

Porcelain crowns can also be used for cosmetic purposes, enhancing the appearance of a tooth that is discolored or misshapen.

Call us today and discover for yourself what we can do to bring your teeth back to optimum health and strength.

Dental bridges are a series of crowns, held together by a substructure, that span across the space of missing teeth and are cemented onto teeth on either side of the space.

We often see patients who have unnatural looking dental bridges – they look dark at the gum line and don’t blend well with the surrounding teeth. Our bridges are different. Our cosmetic bridges blend beautifully in your smile and support your health as well. They keep remaining teeth from shifting and protect the jaw from bone loss.

We always take plenty of time with you to discuss your needs and evaluate the way your dentures should fit and the way they should appear.

Our dentures are designed to look as good as they feel. We take great care to choose and place denture teeth in harmony with your facial features. This ensures a natural look with superior comfort. The combination of form and function is our ultimate goal.

Dental implants are the most natural and comfortable way to replace missing teeth, allowing you to chew, speak and laugh with complete confidence – and you never have to remove your teeth for cleaning.

Because of our reputation for excellence, many people turn to Dr. White for the creation of their implant restorations after implant surgery or when an implant has failed. We work in concert with a group of trusted oral surgeons for the placement of the implant post.

Once your oral surgeon has placed the implant post and it has healed in place of your tooth root, Dr. Gary White can offer a variety of replacement options:

  • Single tooth replacement with an implant crown custom created to perfectly blend with your natural teeth.
  • Implant supported bridge to replace several teeth. These are permanently anchored to the implant posts for a beautiful and secure bridge that lets you enjoy your food and looks great!
  • Implant supported dentures to help create a comfortable bite, reduce chances of bone loss, enhance aesthetics and improve your speech. There is no longer any need to use adhesives or worry about teeth slipping while you are talking. Some actually feel the new dentures have taken years off their appearance.

Whatever implant restoration you choose, we can help you look great, feel younger and face life with renewed confidence!

Sometimes we see people who no longer smile. These smiles are decayed, broken down, painful or damaged, and also often hidden and suppressed. Restoring these smiles to health with a full or partial restoration is one of our most exciting opportunities.

We are here to help anyone with oral health issues find smiles that not only look better but that also function and feel the way nature intended them to. We call it full mouth restoration, but it really is rejuvenation like no other.

Full or partial mouth restoration dentistry involves restoring some or all of your teeth, and bite to a natural looking and youthful feeling condition, consequently improving self-esteem and enhancing appearance. To achieve this, we combine dental treatments that suit your particular needs. Each full mouth restoration is individually designed and tailored to help you look great and feel better than ever before!

If you are tired of living with the discomfort and embarrassment of a damaged smile, please call us. We will handle you and your smile with care and respect, and get you back to health in no time!
